Evolve Tackle QC Weight Clips feature integrated steel swivels and an internal eye that connects directly to your line or leader, removing the need for pegs and ensuring the safest possible operation. The internal eye keeps bulky knots and connections away from the tail rubber, so lead ejection is not compromised and consistent performance is achieved in all arrangements. The clips allow the weight or lead to detach if it becomes stuck in weed or snags. The clips have a smooth, ridge-free and consistent, parallel rear shaft, so tail rubbers remove predictably and reliably from all positions. The Evolve Weight Clip system offers two different tail rubbers for further fine tuning of weight or lead retention and release (tail rubbers sold separately). These tail rubbers are available in two formats, plus and minus, which have different release forces, so the set-up can be tuned to suit the size of weight or lead being used, the line or leader being used, and the requirements of the angling situation — in other words, what force you want the weight or lead to be ejected with. A unique slot lets mainlines and leaders be connected to the internal eye and then pulled into the clip for a direct assembly. The main bore is also designed to allow larger leaders to be assembled by pulling through with a gated baiting needle. The design means the tail rubber does not fully remove from the end of the clip after weight or lead detachment, so the slot is always sealed.
