Drennan E-Sox Paddle Tail dropshot lures measure 8.5cm (3.25in) and are built for perch, zander, pike and other predatory species. The wide, broad paddle tail produces a strong swimming action that mimics a distressed prey fish, and a specially designed slit in the belly allows the lure to be rigged weedless for really snaggy swims. They are made from a high grade, low-odour plastic material that is both durable and exceptionally soft, encouraging predators to strike, grab hold and not let go. While they suit dropshotting tactics particularly well, they are equally effective fished on a weighted jig head. Each re-sealable packet includes a special fish oil booster. Unlike many lures, where added scent helps mask the smell of the plastic caused by polymer leach, this booster is included to genuinely enhance the lure for greater attraction. During testing these lures proved highly effective, catching fish of all sizes as well as several canal perch to just under 4lb and reservoir perch to just under 5lb.
