Devon Baits Frozen Bluey is a blast-frozen bait fish, Cololabis saira, introduced to the UK sea angling market in 2007. Extremely oily, it is effective for rays, dogfish and whiting. A cross between mackerel and garfish, it is found in the Pacific from Japan to the Gulf of Alaska. Its oil has greater viscosity and remains longer in the flesh compared to mackerel or herring, making it an excellent bait for its size. - All frozen baits will be packaged securely in thermal bubble wrap bags to help keep them cool for as long as possible during transit. - Delivery occurs the next working day after dispatch.
