The Evolve Tackle Run Ring System Kit lets you switch between a free running set-up and a semi-fixed set-up quickly and easily, giving you maximum flexibility from a single product and meaning less to buy and store in your tackle box. For a semi-fixed set-up, push the Run Ring over the Bead ribs to lock it in place; the Running Sleeve is not used. For a free running set-up, mount the Running Sleeve onto the line via the slot — there is no need to break the line or leader — then push it over the Bead ribs to lock it in place. With the Bead ribs covered, the Run Ring is prevented from engaging and runs free. The Bead has internal alignment features for the swivel, so it always assembles correctly for optimal performance, and this also provides thicker walls and extra protection. Its long tapering top section gives extra line and leader protection inside the Run Ring and smoothly guides the Run Ring into position when fished free running. That same tapering top section also accommodates rig tubing, gripping it firmly in place. The low profile angled Run Ring allows the weight or lead to hang vertically, and is supplied with a Silicone Sleeve to cover the Weight Link, improving aerodynamics on the cast and helping to prevent tangles. The system is designed so that when fished semi-fixed, the Bead will always release the Run Ring before the swivel pulls out from the Bead. In the event of a line breakage, the line, leader or tubing will pull through the large bore of the Run Ring rather than the small bore of the Bead, which is essential for a safe set-up. The Ring is moulded in a hard plastic for a low friction and hard wearing set-up. The Bead and Running Sleeve are both moulded in the Evolve translucent 'dark camo' finish to complement all the Evolve end tackle products and enhance rig concealment. - Available in six per pack
