TG's Rocket Fuel Red is a higher-viscosity lubricant developed after the original Yellow Label, created to control the new generation of magnetically controlled multipliers whose spools continued to over-run with the thinner Yellow Label. Red Label keeps all the winning attributes of its thinner cousin but with a higher viscosity, so you still get liquid control. It also performs the same way as the Original when applied to larger centrifugally braked reels such as the ABU 8000 and 9000. The grease uses the same formulation but at ultra-high viscosity, for use on fixed-spool and big-game reels, and for the gears on smaller sized reels. It is also suitable for cleaning, protecting and lubricating the IAR (Instant Anti Reverse) bearing. Designed to supersede ordinary grease, this product is also well suited to casters just starting out with multipliers, building confidence and removing the fear of a birds-nest.
