Gardner Dual Gripper Butt Rests are flexible rear rod rests designed to hold the rod securely in most fishing situations. They grip the butt of the rod and stop it being pulled from the rear rod rest on the bite, while still releasing smoothly on the strike. Similar in concept to the original John Roberts butt grips but improved, they suit both carp and specialist anglers fishing for a variety of species. The dual diameter recesses of 13mm and 20mm ensure effective grip with different diameter rod butts. They work well with almost any style of carp or specialist rod handle, including full cork, Duplon, slim-line shrink wrap and abbreviated handles. The composition has been specified to offer a balance between grip and strength.
