Gardner Camflex Leadcore Spliced Leaders 45lb

Description

Gardner Camflex Leadcore Spliced Leaders in 45lb are built around an ultra-supple leadcore with a flecked camouflage pattern that breaks up the visual outline of the leader, helping it blend into the aquatic environment. The tightly braided outer and super-dense 0.5mm lead inner core make this one of the softest and most supple leadcores available, so leaders lay flush to the lakebed, staying hidden from wary fish and minimising disturbance in the baited area. Camflex is highly versatile, suiting everything from long-running chod and helicopter rigs to traditional running rigs and even freelining in the margins. Its increased abrasion resistance makes it a reliable choice when fishing near underwater hazards such as bars, rocks or weed beds. The higher diameter is also gentler on fish, reducing the risk of lifting scales during the fight. For safety, always ensure your rig allows the hooklink to separate from the leader. Well-constructed helicopter rigs paired with a strong mainline are recommended to minimise the potential risks associated with using a leader.
