Breakaway Adjustable Crimp Kit

Description

The Breakaway Adjustable Crimp Tool is built specifically for use with Breakaway soft adjustable crimps. Traditional crimping tools tend to weaken traces by cutting serrated grooves across the crimp, which can damage the trace body. This tool takes a different approach, crimping lengthways in a neat, controlled lateral action. That lets you either virtually lock an adjustable crimp in place or crimp it to a lesser degree so it can still be moved to suit the trace design. - Designed for Adjustable Crimps: must only be used with the new soft adjustable crimps for optimum results and reliability. - Lateral Crimping Action: crimps the crimp lengthways, avoiding the damaging serrated cuts of traditional tools, so the crimp is securely held without weakening the trace body. - Adjustable Security: allows for a controlled crimp. Fully Locked — crimp tightly to secure components permanently. Adjustable — crimp lightly so the component can still be moved to suit the trace design, such as adjusting snood length. - Corrosion-Resistant Body: the body is made from heavy-duty plastic to prevent corrosion, making it safe to store in your tackle box without deterioration. - Durable Blade: the metal blade that produces the lateral crimp is specially hardened to give maximum durability and consistent performance. - Complete Kit: the tool comes complete with 20 crimps and rubber inserts so you can start rigging immediately. - Product: Adjustable Crimp Tool - Body Material: Heavy Duty Plastic (Corrosion-Resistant) - Blade Material: Specially Hardened Metal - Crimping Action: Lateral (Lengthways) Crimp - Compatibility: Only for use with Breakaway Soft Adjustable Crimps - Included: Crimp Tool, 20 Crimps, and Rubber Inserts - Key Benefit: Controlled crimping to lock or allow movement, prevents trace damage
