The Penn Tidal XT Beach Caster is part of Penn's Tidal Surfcasting Concept, a range of beach casters built for surfcasting with either a fixed spool reel or a multiplier. The blanks combine high modulus 36/40T carbon to keep the rod lightweight, responsive and very slim, while Carbon X-Wrap technology adds strength and reduces twisting for improved casting accuracy and control. Saltwater-proof Fuji Alconite deep pressed frame guides are fitted throughout, and a glow in the dark finish makes bites easier to spot in low light. Each rod also features an X-Shrink casting grip for maximum control during the cast.
