Its extremely strong carbon blank and heavy-duty SeaGuide guides give it the backbone to handle the biggest fish in the deep blue. A distinctive feature is the under-whipped, spiral-mounted guide setup, which keeps the line from touching the rod blank under heavy load. The aluminium reel seat uses a double locking nut to keep the reel securely in place, while the high-density EVA grips provide a firm hold. The slick butt protects the base of the rod from damage in a rod holder, and the aluminium gimbal adds strength and a secure connection during a fight.
