Tronixpro Multiplier Reel Case

Description

Multiplier reels are precision instruments, and even a minor bump can knock a spool out of alignment or damage a centrifugal braking system. The Tronixpro Multiplier Reel Case is shaped specifically to house the unique profile of a multiplier reel, giving a snug, cushioned fit that standard square cases cannot match. Whether you are carrying a 6500-size beach caster or a 7500-size boat reel, this case helps keep your gear in mint condition. Crafted from 420D Oxford Nylon, the case is built for the rough and tumble of sea angling. It is water-resistant, sand-proof, and features high-density padding that acts as a shock absorber, protecting your reel from the abrasive environment of your tackle bag or the jolts of a boat journey. - Specific Multiplier Shaping: Unlike generic bags, the internal geometry is designed to cradle the rounded shape of a multiplier, preventing the reel from sliding inside the case and keeping the handle and star drag protected. - High-Capacity Protection: Comfortably accommodates all popular beach and boat multipliers up to 7500 size, including models from Abu Garcia, Penn, and Shimano. - Full-Access Double Zip: The zip runs around three sides, allowing the case to be opened completely flat. This ensures you can place the reel inside without catching the line or the bail arm on the zipper. - 420D Oxford Nylon Construction: The material is tough and wipe-clean. It serves as a barrier against salt spray, moisture, and fine sand that can penetrate reel bearings if left unprotected. - Cold-Weather Optimized: Equipped with oversized rubberized Tronixpro toggles, allowing you to access your gear instantly even when your fingers are wet, cold, or numb. - Material: 420D Oxford Nylon (Water-Resistant and Wipe-Clean) - Padding: High-Density Internal Foam throughout - Closure: 3-Sided Double Zip with Rubberized Toggles - Compatibility: Multipliers up to 7500 size (Beach and Boat) - Colour: Stealth Grey and Black - Primary Use: Specimen Hunting, Boat Fishing, and Beach Casting - Beach Casting for Hounds and Rays: When trekking over rough ground to reach the best marks, your reel is vulnerable. This case provides the safety cell needed to keep your casting reel performing at 100%. - Boat Fishing Charters: In the tight confines of a boat, gear often gets piled together. This case protects your multiplier from being scratched by other reels or crushed by heavy leads in a boat bag. - Winter Cod Fishing: The rubberized toggles are a game-changer on freezing nights, making it easy to pack away your gear when you are ready to head for the warmth of the car. - Modular Storage: These cases are designed to sit neatly inside the Tronixpro Rucksack, allowing you to organise your reels by species or tactic. Gerry's Tip: For multipliers, we recommend storing them with the star drag backed off and the spool tension knob loosened. This prevents the drag washers and shims from becoming compressed over time while the reel is sitting in its padded case. A quick drop of reel oil before zipping it up ensures it stays in peak condition for your next session.
