Gardner Ultra Sink Tungsten Hooklink combines a heavy, tungsten-impregnated skin with a fast-sinking braided core of blended Dyneema and fluorocarbon fibre. The result is one of the fastest-sinking, densest skinned hooklinks available to carp anglers. The skin is strong and easy to strip, straighten and knot, and it will not rupture when you tighten down a figure-of-eight knot. Its medium stiffness is rigid enough to kick out a balanced rig and bait combination, yet supple enough to settle naturally when the link lies over rough ground or obstacles. During testing in the UK and by Gardner teams in Europe, the material proved highly versatile. It can be used conventionally, either stripped or unstripped, for boom sections on Ronnie Rigs and Hinged Rigs. The colours have been chosen to suit most angling situations.
