Description

The Gardner Compact Hook Stone is a high precision hook sharpening tool designed to put a keen edge on hook points, and it suits both straight and beaked point patterns. A solid steel handle combined with flat faced abrasive surfaces gives you a high degree of control while sharpening. The honing surfaces are made from two different grades of diamond encrusted composite abrasive: - 30 microns (fine grade) on the front. - 60 microns (medium grade) on the back. The abrasive surfaces measure 2cm wide by 7.5cm long and are mounted on a rigid, lightweight 2cm wide stainless steel handle. The stability of the handle, together with the width of the abrasive faces, makes the tool effective and easy to use.
