Fortis Bays Lite Polarised Sunglasses

Description

The Fortis Bays Lite Polarised Sunglasses represent a refined and restyled version of the popular Bays family, remodelled in 2020. These sunglasses are specifically designed for anglers seeking effective polarised eye protection and enhanced vision on the water, presented in a lighter, updated frame. Weighing just 25g, the frames are engineered to be lightweight and robust, partly due to the inclusion of zero-hinge construction, eliminating metal hinges. The design prioritises maximum peripheral vision, featuring a 22-degree wrap angle that provides substantial side coverage to minimise the ingress of side light. This helps eliminate surface glare from the water, allowing anglers to see clearly beneath and spot fish that might otherwise go unnoticed. The Fortis Bays Lite sunglasses integrate XBlok technology, a reflective surface coating that delivers additional glare block to further enhance vision. They are available with a selection of lens options to suit various light conditions and preferences: - Brown 247: An all-round lens offering high contrast definition, suitable for conditions ranging from low to bright light. - Amber AMPM: Provides clarity across different light levels. - Switch: Photochromic lenses that automatically adjust their tint, becoming clearer in shaded conditions and darker in bright light. - Purple Xblok: A mirrored coating option designed to assist in easily spotting fish in all light conditions, while also offering additional glare blocking. Comfort during long fishing sessions is addressed through a super-comfortable nose support and gently hooked arms, ensuring a secure fit. Spring-loaded hinges allow the arms to flex for a universal fit, accommodating wider heads and reducing pressure behind the ears, while rubber tips contribute to grip and comfort. Suitable for a variety of fishing styles, including coarse fishing, carp fishing, and fly fishing, the Fortis Bays Lite Polarised Sunglasses are tested to and pass British Standard BS EN ISO 12312-1:2015. Each pair comes supplied with a protective carry case and a microfibre cleaning cloth.
