Description

The Wychwood Truefly SLA MkII is a cassette fly reel built to high design specifications, refining the original SLA with a slimmer, more contoured profile. Every curve serves a purpose, whether highlighting its lines or improving the feel and fit in use, and the reel is exceptionally light as a result. At 183 grams, it is over half an ounce lighter than the previous SLA. This was achieved by carefully removing as much material as possible from the die-cast aluminium frame and cage without compromising the reel's integrity or functionality, making it the lightest fly reel in its class. Functionality is built around a semi-sealed Rulon drag system, a snug compression-fit spool, and sculpted spool release and drag knobs for comfortable use. The MkII is available in two colourways, champagne and silver, both with a smooth satin finish.
