Penn Prevail III Slow Pitch Jigging Rod 6ft6 200g

Description

The Penn Prevail III Slow Pitch Jigging Cast Rod is a specialised fishing rod built for the finesse and power that modern slow pitch jigging demands. It combines extreme sensitivity, a parabolic action and the durability needed when battling offshore species. Penn has been making fishing tackle since 1932 and is known for robust, reliable saltwater gear, and the Prevail series reflects that focus on high-performance equipment for anglers who push their tackle hard. The blank is a strong graphite composite, giving the rod the light weight and sensitivity required to feel subtle bites. The slow pitch jigging action comes from a precise blank taper and material layering. The rod is finished with Fuji components, including a sturdy reel seat and corrosion-resistant guides, for longevity in the saltwater environment. The parabolic action lets the angler impart a flutter and dance to the jig with minimal effort, while the responsive tip provides clear feedback so even delicate takes are detectable. A specialised butt section and high-density EVA grips supply the leverage and comfort needed during long fights, and the lightweight build keeps fatigue down for all-day vertical jigging. The Penn Prevail III Slow Pitch Jigging Casting Rod is available in two lengths and power ratings with specific jig weight capacities to suit different offshore conditions and target species. - Parabolic Jigging Action - Graphite Composite Blank - Corrosion-Resistant Guides - High-Density EVA Grips - Specialised Design
