Shimano Tribal TX-1B Carp Rod

Description

The Shimano Tribal TX-1B is Shimano's entry-level carp rod, aimed at newcomers and starter-level anglers. It is built on a full carbon blank and has a subtle, understated finish. The range delivers solid all-round performance across a variety of fishing techniques, from long-range casting through to short-range stalking. For anglers new to carp fishing, or occasional anglers looking for a budget-friendly option, the TX-1B offers strong value for its quality. It comes in a modern slim shrink tube finish, and the range combines an appealing look with performance that exceeds expectations at this price point. All models feature a progressive action, which helps when playing hard-fighting carp of any size. The full carbon blank gives performance well beyond what the low cost of the range would suggest. Rods at this price have traditionally been soft, heavy and not especially user friendly, but this range changes that. The longer models cast a surprisingly long distance, and the progressive action helps less experienced anglers get the most out of their casting. The range covers a wide selection of lengths, including long-range Intensity models. The rods are fitted with sleek stainless steel guide frames, Shimano guides and a custom-designed DPS reel seat.
