Skeater Unlimited Catfish Rod

Description

The Skeater Unlimited Catfish range covers five robust blanks in 10ft, 11ft and 12ft lengths, built to handle the demands of modern catfish fishing in the UK and Europe. Each rod is constructed from X-grade mixed-modulus carbon fibre, giving strength and responsiveness, and is fitted with double-legged, braid-friendly Zirconium (ZrO2) guide sets with anti-frap tip guides. Guide spacing has been optimised to improve casting distance and control. A custom black and grey camouflage EVA foregrip and oversized EVA fighting butt improve handling during long battles with big fish, while the fibreglass-reinforced DBS reel seat adds reliability. The 10ft and 11ft models are available with either high-grade AAA cork or black and grey camouflage EVA handles. The 12ft model uses the same DPS reel seat, EVA fighting foregrip and gimbal butt, along with a slim Japanese shrink rubber tube handle. All rods feature a short handle below the reel seat and an oversized foregrip, so more pressure can be applied to the fish with less fatigue. The 10ft rod has a 4.5lb test curve, making it the most powerful in the range and suited to fish of 100lb and over. The 11ft rod is the more all-round option with a 4lb test curve, for fish up to around 60lb. The 12ft rod suits anglers who prefer a longer rod or need extra length for casting further. - Five robust, high-performance blanks for modern catfish fishing across the UK and Europe (10ft, 11ft and 12ft) - Constructed from X-grade mixed-modulus carbon fibre for superior strength and responsiveness - Fitted with double-legged, braid-friendly, Zirconium (ZrO2) guides and anti-frap tip guides - Impact-resistant and anti-tangle guide set - Optimised guide spacing for improved casting distance and control - Custom black and grey camouflage EVA fore grip and oversized EVA fighting butt - Durable, fibreglass-reinforced DBS 20 reel seat on 10ft and 11ft, DBS 22 on 12ft - Handle Options: 10ft and 11ft, choice of high-grade AAA cork or custom black and grey camouflage EVA - 12ft: Lightweight Japanese shrink rubber tube handle with EVA fighting foregrip and gimbal butt - Ergonomic handle design: short grip below the DBS reel seat and oversized foregrip for applying maximum pressure with minimal fatigue - Engineered for strength, endurance and reliable performance in the toughest catfish fishing conditions - All models supplied in a premium green protective rod sleeve
