Westin W6 BC 300 Baitcasting Reel

Description

The Westin W6-BC 300 LSG RH Stealth Gold is a high-end baitcasting reel from Westin's top-tier W6 series, built for anglers targeting large, hard-fighting freshwater predators like pike and musky with big, high-resistance lures. The "300" denotes its large size, "LSG" stands for Low Speed Gear, and "RH" specifies a right-hand retrieve model. The "Stealth Gold" name refers to its black and gold colour scheme. The reel combines a robust one-piece aluminium frame with carbon side plates, keeping weight down while preventing flex under heavy loads. Its 10+1 sealed stainless steel ball bearing system delivers smooth operation on the retrieve and during the cast. An Internal Centrifugal Brake (CBS6) with six shoes offers fine control over the spool to reduce backlashes and tune casts for different lure weights and wind. The multi-stack carbon drag provides smooth, consistent pressure and includes a clicker that sounds audibly when line is pulled. The 5.6:1 gear ratio, using precision-machined GT-A gears, prioritises torque for working deep-diving crankbaits or slow, methodical retrieves with large jerkbaits and swimbaits. A full carbon handle with non-slip rubber knobs completes the ergonomic design, and the reel is lubricated with three grease types during assembly. - Model: W6-BC 300 LSG RH Stealth Gold - Handle: Right-hand retrieve - Bearings: 10+1 sealed stainless steel ball bearings - Gear Ratio: 5.6:1 (LSG – Low Speed Gear) - Line Retrieve: 70 cm per handle turn - Line Capacity: Approximately 230m of 0.30mm line - Weight: 250g - Maximum Drag Force: 12 kg - Frame: One-piece aluminum frame with carbon side plate - Brake System: 6-shoe Internal Centrifugal Brake (CBS6) - Drag System: Multi-stack carbon drag with clicker - Additional Features: - Fast Line Connector spool system - Line View - Stay-On side plate and tension knob - Delivered in a protective hard case
