Description

The Drennan Red Range 11m Carp Pole is an extension of the popular Red Range family of rods and reels, offering a strong performance package at a value price point. It works well as a quality long margin pole, a dependable second pole for experienced anglers, and a solid choice for someone buying their first pole. This is a true 11-metre model that remains fishable and manageable at full length. It is built with enough strength for carp and commercial fisheries, yet retains the stiffness and responsiveness needed for catching silver fish in quantity. The pole comes with a top two Carp Kit fitted plus a spare top two Carp Kit. These kits measure approximately 2.3m and are ready to elasticate straight from the bag. As supplied, the Carp Kits accept a 4.7mm Super Slick PTFE Bush (3.2mm internal diameter), ideal for light to medium solid elastics and up to yellow 10-12 Carp Bungee hollow elastic or equivalent. Two larger 5.4mm Super Slick PTFE Bushes (4.1mm internal diameter) are also included for thicker elastics; the pole needs trimming back roughly 18cm to fit these larger bushes. The Red Range Carp features factory-fitted Side Pull Slots, matching the design of Drennan's top-of-the-range models. This allows the use of Roller Cones and the Side Pull System, which delivers smooth performance with both solid and hollow elastic and makes playing fish an easy process. The package also includes two Skid Bungs, EVA nose cones for the No 2 (ready fitted) and No 3 sections, two threaded Cupping Kit Adaptors, a Polemaster Pole Pot, four internal PTFE bushes, a Roller Cone extractor rod, and eight Side Pull Beads. The two cupping kit adaptors let you convert one Carp Kit into a Cupping Kit, with two sizes ensuring the cupping kit matches the top kit length for accurate feeding.
