The Carp Porter Glider Power Porter Barrow is a powered barrow designed for anglers who need to move heavy and bulky tackle. It features an extended base and a fully adjustable multi-point configuration, allowing it to be tailored to different loads, session lengths, and terrain. Twin rear swivel wheels are fitted to improve manoeuvrability, helping the barrow navigate tight corners and paths with ease. The high-strength steel frame has a hard-wearing matte powder coated finish. The 2025 model includes a new generation drive control unit, developed with a UK electronics specialist. This upgraded unit features modernised circuitry and a cleaner design intended to reduce the risk of water ingress and improve long-term reliability. The system operates at 20kHz for quieter performance, eliminating the high-pitched whine of older models. The electronic system includes several features for control and convenience. The Slow Start/Stop system provides smooth acceleration and deceleration for controlled movement. The Instant Stop feature halts operation immediately when the power button is released within 6 seconds, which is useful for navigating tight swims or when loading up. An Adjustable Speed Dial allows you to fine-tune your speed and switch the unit on or off with a single control. Three selectable reverse speeds provide power and control when reversing a fully loaded barrow. Quick-Release Connectors at key connection points allow for fast, cable-free breakdown for transportation and storage.
