The Gardner Covert Tungsten Ronnie Sleeves are streamlined sleeves designed for use with size 12 QC or XT swivels, as found on the popular Ronnie Rig (Spinner) and German Rig. Their internal construction lets the sleeve sit neatly over the top half of the swivel, keeping everything flush and tidy without restricting the hook's essential rotational movement. Two weight options are available. The standard, unweighted sleeve suits the hugely popular Ronnie Rig with pop-ups that need minimal balancing, such as shop-bought 12mm hookbaits that largely balance under the hook's weight. Being unweighted, it is also ideal for sleeving the swivel on German-style rigs with balanced bottom baits like wafters or snowman-balanced tigers. The heavy version is made specifically for custom and high buoyancy hookbaits, such as cork-balled pop-ups, and works well as a counterweight for Hinged Stiff Rigs and naked Chods where you prefer a rigid hook link on the swivel rather than a looped hinge. These sleeves are simple to use: slide one securely down onto the swivel to secure the hooklink in place and balance the hookbait, with no need for shrink tube, making hook changes quick and easy. They are manufactured from a tungsten polymer compound. - Sleeves are 12mm x 4.1mm. - 8 x sleeves per packet. - These sleeves are ideal for use on most hooks between size 2 and size 6.
