Nash Floating Maggot

Description

The Nash Floating Maggot is a buoyant plastic hookbait designed for specimen carp anglers. These durable plastic maggots help ward off nuisance fish and can be used on their own or alongside live maggots. They are effective for disguising the hook when zig fishing for pressured carp, or for creating a slow sinking presentation to offset the weight of a hook. The maggots work in various rig setups, including Mag Aligner rigs, hybrid rigs with plastic corn or maize on the hair, or in a hair loop as a bait stop. Like all Nash plastic baits, these maggots can be soaked or dipped in liquids to increase their attraction. A recommended enhancing blend is Scopex No.1 and sweetener, which suits both real and plastic maggot hookbaits. They also help protect fragile real maggots when threading them on light line or floss: adding a plastic maggot first and last means that when the bunch is drawn together and tied on a rig, the knot pulls down against the plastic maggots rather than popping the real ones off the line. - Pack of 14 maggots - 7 white and 7 red maggots
