Description

The Guru A-Class Margin 550 is a 5.5m pole designed for short-range and margin commercial fishing, offering a blend of power and a crisp, responsive action. It forms part of the wider A-Class pole range, which was introduced to provide a more affordable option for anglers without compromising on core performance. All A-Class poles are built from Zero 400 Tensile Carbon, chosen for its strength and balance of durability with quality performance. The range uses two finishes to aid efficiency: a super glide paint on the butt sections and a friction-free matt tape on the thinner sections, which helps maintain speed even when wet or sticky hands are a factor. The Guru Performance Point Alignment System stiffens the carbon spine once the points are aligned, while True Extensions, a feature carried over from the flagship Aventus range, bring the pole to its exact stated length and use reinforced end sections for added durability. The pole also comes ready to fish with a carbon wrap for side bush assembly and UK-manufactured PTFE bushes fitted.
