Description

The Guru Aventus Distance Feeder Rod 13ft is a three-piece rod built to Tackle Guru specifications by Daiwa in UK facilities, using Japanese carbon and modern rod technology. It is designed to combine distance, accuracy, durability, and playing action, folding down neatly for transport in a Fusion Rod Holdall. The rod has a casting weight of 150g and is capable of distances over 100m with the right gear and technique. The rod is intended to help anglers cast further and accurately while retaining a playing action suitable for a range of fish, from roach and skimmers on natural venues to large carp on big commercial waters at distance. The 13ft model has been tested on large tidal rivers across the UK and Europe. Its crisp, progressive action provides power in the lower sections for distance casting while preventing hook pulls when fishing lighter lines. The rod features oversized Fuji Alconite K-Guides, positioned to optimise compression, casting, and playing action, and to reduce tangles. An A-Grade cork handle with an Armlock design offers comfort and control, finished with a Fuji DPS reel seat. The butt is completed with a moulded Guru EVA hand grip with finger moulds to aid hand positioning on the cast. Handles are longer than standard to increase leverage and casting accuracy. The rod also incorporates Zero 90 carbon technology, which double-layers carbon fibres at different angles to maintain the rod's cylindrical structure, reducing energy loss and improving casting power and precision.
