The ESP Quickdraw 4K Spod and Marker Rod is engineered for both spodding and feature finding, offering a combination of casting performance and durability in a compact format. It is constructed from a high modulus carbon blank, which provides a crisp, responsive action with a balance of power and sensitivity. The rod features a 3K woven carbon finish on the butt section for added strength and a 1K weave on the tip for enhanced responsiveness and tip speed, contributing to casting control and feel on the drop. This 4.5lb test curve rod is designed to perform best for distance spodding when paired with a midi spomb weighing approximately 6oz when full, optimizing blank compression for maximum range. It also functions effectively for accurately mapping out features and is an excellent transmitter when leading around.
