Drennan Hair Stops

Description

The Drennan Hair Stops are specifically designed to secure hook bait on hair rigs. Their unique dumbbell shape is engineered to lock the hair rig loop firmly in position, preventing baits such as boilies, pellets, or corn from sliding off the line, thereby ensuring the rig operates with maximum mechanical efficiency on the lakebed. These hair stops are constructed from a durable, low-glare, high-density polymer, molded to be tough and semi-rigid so they do not degrade or bend out of shape, allowing for repeated use. They are produced in muted, natural colorways, including clear, translucent yellow, and dark earthy tones, to seamlessly blend into various presentations and match bait colors. Key features of the Drennan Hair Stops include: - Special dumbbell shape - Miniature tapered ends for easy insertion into small or wet hair loops - Made from a durable, low-glare polymer - Designed for secure bait retention during casting and fishing - Supplied with 100 stops per packet The Drennan Hair Stops are available in two sizes to accommodate different bait types and fishing scenarios. The Mini 3.5mm size is tailored for smaller hard baits, mini boilies, punched meat, and single grains of sweetcorn. The Large 4.5mm size is engineered for substantial, full-sized carp boilies or softer baits, such as large pellets and cubed luncheon meat, where a smaller stop might pull through the bait under water pressure. They are suitable for precision method feeder carp tactics and specimen tench and bream campaigns.
