Key features of the Korda Baiting Needles include: - Hardened steel construction for durability - Smooth tips to prevent bait damage - High-visibility, colour-coded handles for easy identification and to prevent loss - Ergonomic handle design for comfortable and controlled use - Available in multiple lengths and diameters to suit different bait sizes - Some models include protective caps or sheaths for safe storage The Korda range encompasses several specialised baiting needles to match specific tasks and hook link materials: - Braided Hair Needle (Yellow Handle): Designed for use with braided hook link materials, it features a crook design that allows a hair loop to be pulled through bait without snagging the braid fibres. - Super Fine Braid Needle (Blue Handle): This needle is ideal for delicate baits that might be damaged by wider needles, such as small pop-ups and tiger nuts. It has a strong, round profile with a tapered point for easier penetration and a recessed barb to secure the hair loop, suitable for both mono and braid. - Latch Needle Heavy (Green Handle): A heavy-duty option for use with monofilament or fluorocarbon materials. - Latch Needle Fine (Purple Handle): This 7cm needle is suitable for softer baits, including particles like sweetcorn, creating a minimal hole. It features a latch to hold the hair in place while pulling it through the bait. - Heavy Latch Stik Needle (12cm): Part of the wider range, this longer needle caters to specific baiting requirements. - Hollow Needles: Specifically designed for splicing braid and creating tidy loops for leaders or tie-ins.
