The Korda Leadcore Chod System offers an ultra-safe No-Trace setup specifically engineered for use with helicopter rigs, particularly on leadcore and similar diameter leader materials. This system is designed to enhance fish safety by ensuring that if your main line breaks above the leader knot, the hook link can easily come free from the leader. This prevents a fish from being left to tow a leadcore leader or the lead itself. A key feature of the Leadcore Chod System is its innovative No-Trace Beads. These beads are designed with a large bore and a slot along their side. Once they are pulled free from the retaining Chod Sleeve, this slot allows the bead to entirely detach from the leader. This mechanism ensures that a size 11 Ring Swivel can easily pass over any leadcore knot or splice, facilitating consistent hook link ejection. This design addresses a common issue where weed or debris could prevent traditional rubber beads from releasing the hook link, thereby compromising safety. The Korda Leadcore Chod System is easy to fit onto your leader and is suitable for both chod rigs and conventional helicopter setups, including those using a Heli-Safe System.
