Korda Long Shank X Hooks

Description

The Korda Long Shank X Hooks are designed for carp anglers seeking a strong and reliable hook pattern. This hook is based on classic fly hook designs, adapted and strengthened for the demands of carp fishing. It features a long shank and a straight, sharp point, engineered to take hold quickly and efficiently in a carp's mouth. The 20-degree in-turned eye promotes rapid flipping and engagement when a fish picks up the rig, leading to consistent hookholds. Constructed with an extra heavy gauge wire and a heavily forged bend, the Korda Long Shank X is built for strength and durability, making it suitable for demanding fishing conditions, including those in heavy weed or near snags. The hook is ideal for targeting ultra-riggy fish on pressured waters and performing in open water situations where a fine balance of sharpness and robustness is required. It is versatile enough for a variety of presentations, including pop-up and bottom-bait rigs. Key features of the Korda Long Shank X Hooks include: - Long shank design - Straight, sharp point - 20-degree in-turned eye - Heavily forged bend for strength - Extra heavy gauge wire construction - Microbarb - PTFE coating for durability - Suitable for challenging fishing situations
