Korda Lead Clip

Description

The Korda Lead Clip is a foundational piece of terminal tackle, engineered to provide a reliable and safe semi-fixed rig setup for carp anglers. Its primary design allows for the lead to be ejected should a hooked fish become snagged in weed or other underwater obstacles. This critical safety feature is paramount for fish welfare, ensuring the carp can shed the lead and often rise in the water column, which significantly increases the chances of a successful and safe landing. Constructed from durable plastic, the Korda Lead Clip features a robust lead retaining lug designed to withstand the forces of powerful casts, even with heavier leads. The system operates by holding the lead via a tail rubber, which fits securely over specialised grooves at the rear of the clip. Anglers can fine-tune the amount of pressure required for the lead to release by simply adjusting how far the tail rubber is pushed onto the clip's body. The Korda Lead Clip is designed for compatibility with standard size-eight swivels, which fit snugly into its nose, creating a secure semi-fixed arrangement. Key features of the Korda Lead Clip include: - Dumps the lead if it becomes snagged - Strong and durable construction - Grooved design ensures the tail rubber releases only when necessary - Compatibility with standard size-eight swivels To ensure optimal camouflage across various fishing environments, the Korda Lead Clip is available in a selection of low-visibility colours: - Weed green - Silt - Clay - Gravel
