Korda Boom

Description

Korda Boom is a crimpable fluorocarbon hook link material designed for creating stiff boom sections in carp rigs. Its inherent stiffness ensures that hook baits are effectively kicked away from the lead, promoting clean presentation and reducing the likelihood of tangles during casting. Crafted from premium, hard fluorocarbon, Korda Boom offers high abrasion resistance and durability. Being 100% fluorocarbon, it boasts a high density, allowing it to sink rapidly and remain pinned flat against the lakebed, contributing to an ultra-discreet approach. The material incorporates a subtle green tint, which further enhances its invisibility underwater by blending with the lakebed and mitigating the "flaring" effect sometimes seen with clear fluorocarbon. A key feature of Korda Boom is its crimpability, allowing anglers to create neat, strong, and consistent loops using Korda Krimps, thereby eliminating the need for bulky knots. This makes rig construction both quicker and more secure. This versatile hook link material is suitable for a wide array of modern carp presentations, including Spinner Rigs, Hinged Stiff Rigs, and Combi Rigs. It performs effectively with both pop-up and bottom bait setups. Korda Boom is supplied on 15m spools and is available in various breaking strains and corresponding diameters: - 15lb (0.45mm) - 20lb (0.50mm) - 25lb (0.55mm) - 35lb (0.65mm)
