The Guru X-Safe Elastics are spare elasticated stems designed for use with the Guru range of feeders and inline leads. This system offers a safe and efficient solution for feeder fishing, aiming to reduce hook pulls and enhance fish safety. The unique X-Safe design allows the entire elasticated section to pull easily through the stem. This ensures that if the main line breaks or a fish picks up a cracked-off rig, the fish can safely jettison the feeder or lead. This commitment to fish welfare has led some prominent fisheries, such as White Acres, to mandate the use of the X-Safe system. Developed by experienced match anglers including Steve Ringer and Adam Rooney, the X-Safe system also prioritises speed and efficiency on the bank. The quick-change design enables ultra-fast recasting, allowing anglers to unclip a feeder or lead and attach a new, ready-to-go rig within seconds.
