Fox Tip & Butt Protectors

Description

The Fox Tip and Butt Protectors are designed to safeguard fishing rods during transit, storage, and handling on the bank. This set includes a long tip protector and a shorter butt protector, engineered to prevent damage to the most vulnerable sections of your rod. They help reduce friction, light impacts, and marks that can occur when rods are bundled, placed in a vehicle, or stored in a rod sleeve. The protectors also minimise the risk of snagging, micro-scratches, and premature wear, helping to maintain the rod's performance and extend its lifespan. Constructed from 100% neoprene, these protectors feature secure Velcro locking straps. These straps are designed to be less tangle-prone and less bulky than those found on many similar products, ensuring tackled-up rods fit more easily into a holdall. The Velcro securing strap is positioned to fit under the butt eye, and the extended shape of the protectors accommodates various butt guide positions for a secure fit. Key features of the Fox Tip and Butt Protectors include: - Designed to protect rod tips and butt sections - Made from 100% neoprene - Utilises Velcro locking straps for secure fastening - Less bulky design compared to many alternatives - Helps keep rod sections securely together - Padded construction for enhanced protection - Suitable for two and three-piece rods - Compatible with most fishing rods, including various lengths of carp rods - Reinforced construction for durability Available in colours such as black, some versions may also feature a distinctive Fox Camo pattern. For specific models, the tip protector measures approximately 18cm long with a 2cm diameter, and the butt protector is about 19cm long with a 3.5cm diameter.
