The Gardner Shrink Tube is a tough, high-quality heat-shrink tubing designed to grip hooks and other terminal tackle firmly. It shrinks down to a third of its original diameter when heated, thanks to a consistent 3:1 shrink ratio, which creates a flush finish for the neatest possible presentation. The tubing is semi-stiff when steamed, so once angled or curved it will retain its shape while fishing. Heat the tubing by steaming or immersing it in hot water, and always take care not to burn or scald yourself.
