Description

The Gardner HD-Floater is a monofilament fishing line specifically developed for surface fishing applications, designed to maintain its buoyancy without the need for additional treatments or sprays. It floats directly from the spool. The line features balanced stretch characteristics, offering reduced stretch for quick, positive strike reactions and crisp line pick-up, while still providing enough give to help keep small hooks securely in place during extended battles. With a smooth finish and soft feel, this line facilitates easy casting, even with small, lightweight controller floats or when freelining baits. Its low-visibility finish and low-reflection surface are designed to reduce its presence across varying light conditions, helping maintain a covert approach when angling for line-shy fish. The Gardner HD-Floater is supplied on 250m level-wound spools, ensuring the line remains pristine and arrives in a twist-free condition when spooled up. Available in Low-viz Clear and Low-viz Green colours, the line comes in three breaking strains and diameters: - 10lb (4.5kg) / 0.29mm - 12lb (5.4kg) / 0.31mm - 15lb (6.8kg) / 0.33mm
