Korda Square Swivel Leads

Description

The Korda Square Swivel Leads, also known as Square Pear Swivel Leads, are designed to offer enhanced hooking efficiency in carp fishing scenarios. This distinctive lead design was developed following observations from Korda's "Underwater Part Four" series, aiming to create the most condensed lead shape possible. The unique "Square Pear" profile features four flat sides and a gently tapered back, which serves multiple functions. This condensed form ensures that a carp quickly feels the full weight of the lead upon picking it up, promoting a rapid and secure hook hold, often referred to as an "instant bolt effect." The flat sides help prevent the lead from rolling once settled on the bottom, while the tapered rear is designed to minimise tangles with the hooklink during casting and presentation. While engineered primarily for superior hooking potential, these swivel leads cast effectively, performing nearly as well as a conventional pear-shaped lead. They are particularly effective when fishing over hard gravel bottoms. The Korda Square Swivel Leads are available in a comprehensive range of weights: - 1.1oz - 1.5oz - 2oz - 2.5oz - 3oz - 3.5oz - 4oz - 5oz - 6oz - 8oz
