Avid In-Line Flat Pear Lead

Description

The Avid Carp Avid In-Line Flat Pear Lead is a traditional style in-line fishing lead, designed for a range of carp angling situations. Its low-profile, flat pear shape ensures exceptional stability on the lakebed, making it ideal for use on marginal slopes, underwater bars, or uneven terrain where it resists rolling and dislodgement. This design also promotes a strong bolt effect for secure hook-ups, particularly effective with short hooklinks and solid PVA bag presentations. This Avid Carp lead features a unique external groove on one side, specifically engineered for drop-off setups. This allows for easy conversion to a drop-off system, beneficial in weedy or snaggy conditions where releasing the lead upon a take can improve fish safety and landing success. A removable internal plastic sleeve further enhances its functionality, ensuring seamless compatibility with Avid Outline FleckTone Bag Stems and the Drop-Off Inline Kit system. The lead is finished with Avid Carp's Outline camouflage coating, a two-tone, speckled FleckTone pattern designed for low visibility. This durable, matte finish helps the lead blend seamlessly into various lakebeds, reducing light reflection and making it less obtrusive to wary carp.
