Korda Krank X Hooks

Description

The Korda Krank X Hooks are a unique hook pattern designed by Tom Dove, offering a robust option for various carp fishing scenarios. This pattern is an enhanced version of the original Krank hook, built with a thicker gauge of wire to provide increased strength for more demanding conditions, such as weedy or snaggy venues, or when targeting larger, hard-fighting carp in extreme waters. The design features a distinctive shape that has proven effective in securing solid hook holds. The Krank X shares the same key characteristics that made the original Krank pattern successful, combining strength with effective hooking potential and a tendency to stay securely in place once a fish is hooked. Key features of the Korda Krank X Hooks include: - Unique hook pattern devised by Tom Dove - Sweeping shank design - Beaked point that is slightly in-turned and offset - Super-wide gape - Constructed from a thicker, stronger wire - Micro barb designed for effective penetration and retention - Suitable for use with a wide variety of rigs, including simple bottom bait rigs, Spinner rigs, Ronnie rigs, Combi rigs, Chod rigs, and Hinged Stiff rigs These hooks are typically available in sizes ranging from 1 to 8, and come in packs of ten. The Korda Krank X is a barbed hook, reflecting its intended use in situations where maximum holding power is required.
