Korda Kamakura Wide Gape X Hooks

Description

The Korda Kamakura Wide Gape X Hooks offer a premium option for carp anglers seeking enhanced sharpness and strength. This 'X' version is a reinforced design of the classic Wide Gape pattern, featuring a thicker gauge wire for increased durability and reliability in challenging fishing conditions. It is engineered for secure fishing, particularly when targeting larger carp or fishing in snaggy environments. The Kamakura sharpening process ensures each hook boasts an exceptionally sharp point straight out of the box, comparable to a hand-sharpened hook, providing high consistency in quality. Each hook point is protected by a blob of wax, which must be carefully removed before use to reveal its full sharpness. Designed for versatility, these hooks are suitable for a wide range of carp rigs and can be effectively used with both pop-up and bottom bait presentations. The hooks come packaged in a protective box, with individual slots to keep each hook securely in place and safeguard its point until needed. Key features of the Korda Kamakura Wide Gape X Hooks include: - Reinforced, thicker-gauge wire compared to the original Wide Gape - Slightly in-turned eye for efficient rig presentation and improved hooking mechanics - Short shank for versatile application in carp fishing - Strongly forged bend for added strength - Beaked point for secure hooking and reliable fish retention - Exceptionally sharp Kamakura finish point - Point protected by wax (remove before use) - Suitable for pop-up and bottom bait presentations - Pack contains 10 hooks - Supplied in a protective box with individual hook holders These barbed hooks are available in the following sizes: - Size 8 - Size 6 - Size 4
