Description

The Korum Bait Bopper is a bait dropper with an adjustable weighting system, letting anglers change the diving speed and overall weight to suit conditions. Interchangeable doughnut-shaped weights are loaded onto an internal stem through a port hidden inside the nose cone, then locked in place with a small handwheel. This allows fine tuning of the dropper's weight, which is useful when flow rates vary. The Bopper has a rocket-style, aerodynamic shape that travels well through air and water, while rear fins stabilise it for accurate placement. The main cavity is made of two spring-loaded parts that open when the Bopper hits the lakebed or riverbed; a stainless steel pin pushes up inside the body to release the trap door and deposit the bait. Holes in the body aid retrieval in fast-flowing water. Loading bait is straightforward, and the cavity shape holds more than many home-made alternatives. Two sizes are available, and each version can be used with or without the internal weights. The standard version comes with a 30g base weight and two additional 30g weights. The XL version comes with a 60g base weight and three additional 30g weights. A dedicated Bopper Baiting Up Rod and Bait Up Braid are also available.
