Wychwood Extricator MLT Cork Handle Rod

Description

The Wychwood Extricator MLT Cork Handle Rod is a high-quality fishing rod crafted for carp anglers, particularly those focused on stalking or fishing in confined spaces. Its multi-modulus carbon construction and MLT Multi-Layer Technology blank provide a balance of power, sensitivity, and durability, suitable for managing large carp in challenging conditions. The rod features a matt anti-glare finish on its ultra-slim blank to help minimise disturbance to fish. This rod is designed for close-in work, such as targeting carp in margins or under overhanging trees, and is also effective for boat fishing where a longer, heavier rod might be impractical. Its compact and slim profile ensures easy transport and storage in rod holdalls and quivers. Key features include: - High grade full length ultra-slim cork handle - Up-locking screw lock reel seat - Custom-spaced, LS braid-friendly TS rings - Powerful multi-modulus carbon blank with MLT Multi-Layer Technology - Matt anti-glare finish blank - Line clip - Gunmetal trims and laser engraved butt cap The Wychwood Extricator MLT range is available in several configurations to suit different angling needs, including: - 9ft 2.75lb test curve (two piece) - 10ft 3lb test curve (two piece) Anglers report the 10ft 3lb model can achieve casting distances over 100 yards and offers a significant backbone for steering large fish, absorbing shock effectively during intense fights. Each rod is supported by an unconditional lifetime policy.
