ESP Lo-Pro MK2 Brolly

Description

The ESP Lo-Pro MK2 Brolly is a lightweight shelter designed for anglers prioritising mobility and quick setup. It is constructed from 210d PU backed polyester in a dark olive green colour, featuring a new black-out light-proof laminate on the inside to prevent sunlight ingress. The material provides a 5,000mm hydrostatic head waterproof rating. The brolly incorporates a unique freestanding design where six of its eight 8mm fibreglass ribs maintain contact with the ground, often negating the need for additional storm poles. Its structure includes a space saver mechanism to maximise internal headroom even when set low. The design features clever elasticated rib joints that allow the front side ribs to extend, enabling height adjustment of the front, while the rear side ribs can also be adjusted to vary the shelter's width and internal space. Additional features include: - Extended waterproof rear skirt to protect luggage from damp and dirt - Rain baffle along the front edge to prevent drips - Compact footprint suitable for tight swims - Quick set up and take-down The brolly is generally suited for most bedchairs, performing optimally with more compact models, and is aimed at short session or overnight anglers who prefer to travel light and remain mobile. Nominal dimensions: - Width: 2.3m - Depth (front to back): 1.7m - Height: Variable up to 1.15m When packed down, the length is 1.73m (5 feet 8 inches), allowing it to fit comfortably within most carp quivers. The brolly alone weighs 3.70kg, increasing to 4.40kg when including the bag and eight pegs. A heavy-duty groundsheet, Mozzy Mesh, and Overwrap are available to purchase separately.
