Description

The Catfish Pro Rubber Beads are designed as essential components for various catfish angling rigs, offering both protection and improved rig mechanics. These durable rubber beads are available in 8mm and 10mm sizes, with some retailers also stocking a 12mm option. A key feature of these beads is their larger bore, specifically engineered to accommodate the heavier lines commonly employed in catfishing. This wider internal diameter allows for smooth movement on thicker monofilament or braided lines. Catfish Pro Rubber Beads serve multiple functions within a rig: - They protect knots from potential damage caused by sliding sinkers, swivels, or other terminal tackle during casting and retrieval, acting as a buffer. - They can be utilised as spacers to correctly position other rig components, such as line rattles or spinner blades, keeping them away from the hook. - In some applications, particularly when combined with other types of beads, they can contribute to creating noise, which some anglers believe can attract catfish and prompt a strike. - Their soft rubber construction helps prevent damage to swivels and other tackle while ensuring smooth line movement for effective bait presentation.
