The Penn Tidal XT Longcast Reel is a high-performance specialist reel series built specifically for surfcasting. It features a strong and lightweight XRC composite main body and rotor, along with a waterproof sealed drag system using Penn's HT-100 carbon fibre washers. The Rocket Spool concept delivers impressive casting potential, while the X-Slow line lay technology puts 50 wraps of line back on the spool per turn of the handle. These casting machines come supplied with an aluminium spare spool and two sets of line reducers.
