Description

The Okuma Azores XP ZXP HS is a spinning reel built around the Precision Dual Force Drag (DFD) system, which combines a precision click adjustment for fine-tuned settings with multi-disc carbonite and felt drag washers. The reel runs on six corrosion-resistant stainless steel ball bearings plus one roller bearing, and its Quick-Set anti-reverse roller bearing works with a ratchet system to form a dual anti-reverse setup for maximum security. Internals include a precision machine-cut brass pinion gear, while the CRC corrosion-resistant coating process and HDGII high-density gearing add durability. The body, side plate, and rotor are made from rigid diecast aluminum, and the Carbon Mechanical Stabilizing System (MSS) helps keep things solid under load. The machined aluminum spool features a two-tone anodized finish and an LCS lip, the handle arm is machined aluminum for added strength, and a Hydro Block water-tight drag seal protects the drag.
