The Korda Slip-D Braid is a purpose-built line for tying the Slip-D Rig, a setup used by many successful carp anglers, including several within the Korda team. Getting the Slip-D right depends heavily on choosing a braid with the correct characteristics for the loop section. If the braid is too supple, the soft combi section can flick back towards the stiff boom, causing tangles or preventing the hookbait from sitting correctly. If it is too stiff, the section loses finesse and hooking potential can be compromised. This Slip-D Braid sits between the two: supple enough to give the combi section anti-tangle properties, yet soft enough to let the rig perform as intended. It is a suitable choice for constructing the loop section on a combi-multi rig. The braid comes in a subtle camouflage colour in 25lb breaking strain, with 20m on each spool.
