Catfish Pro Unhooking Mat with Flap

Description

The Catfish Pro Unhooking Mat with Flap is an XXL landing mat designed for anglers fishing in the UK or travelling across the channel in pursuit of a larger catfish or pike personal best. Its low profile design uses muted camouflage tones suited to the bank, and the extra space it provides is always beneficial for the fish. The mat is constructed from a special high density foam, which keeps the mat less bulky while remaining super comfortable for the fish during retention. This cushioning is essential for good fish care, protecting delicate scales from damage as you place the catfish or pike down to unhook, clean, and photograph before returning it to the water. The mat is light and cushioned, and it also features a zipped flap that, when unfolded, doubles the size of the mat. This extended section can be used for you to lean on, but it is more useful for covering the captured fish. When holding the fish for a picture, it is ideal to hold it over the extended size, and between photo preparation you should shade the fish on the mat to protect it from heat and light.
