Description

The Wychwood Extremis FD Reel is built around the brand's reputation for longevity and durability, an ethos that carries through the entire Extremis range. The reel combines a stylish, lightweight build with notable strength, supporting longer casts with ease. A super slow oscillation delivers an even line lay, while an oversized drive shaft and 9+1 stainless steel ball bearings contribute to smooth, powerful performance. The precision fast drag uses full carbon drag washers, allowing ultra-smooth pressure changes with minimal adjustment. Practical touches include a discreet one-touch folding handle with a black stained wooden grip, a spring-loaded Hi-Impact line clip, and a fully floating line guard. The Extremis FD is available in the popular 6000 size and a larger 8000 size for heavier demands. - Robust light weight Carbon Graphite body and rotor - 9 + 1 high-grade Stainless-steel bearings - Carbon drag washers - Precision fast drag - Spring loaded Hi-impact line clip - Slow oscillation with floating line guard - Oversized drive shaft - One touch folding handle with wooden grip - 6000 FD 0.25-420 0.30-290 0.35-210 - 8000 FD 0.35-430 0.40-330 0.50-210 - 4.6.1/4.9.1 gear ratios - Weight 548g/618g
