Preston MCM-B Eyed Hooks

Description

The Preston Innovations MCM-B Eyed Hooks are a robust and effective choice for various fishing situations, particularly suited for hair rigging baits. This 'circle' type hook features a swept circle geometry, where "MCM" stands for Magic Circle Match, designed to deliver an exceptionally positive and secure hook hold. The unique design promotes self-hooking efficiency, helping to minimise pulled hooks and prevent fish from dislodging during the fight. Each hook is treated with a durable PTFE coating. This finish not only enhances the strength and sharpness of the hook but also provides anti-glare properties, offering a more covert presentation underwater. The low-friction PTFE layer also allows the precision-ground, aggressively in-turned point to glide effortlessly into a fish's mouth, forming a secure mechanical anchor. Constructed from a resilient medium wire gauge, these hooks are strong enough to manage carp and F1s, yet fine enough for targeting silverfish. The eyed design facilitates easy tying and ensures a strong, reliable knot connection suitable for various hooklength materials. The MCM-B Eyed Hooks are highly versatile, making them perfect for commercial bagging and demanding match fishing scenarios. They perform well across multiple disciplines, including pole fishing, Method and Hybrid Feeder, and Straight Lead tactics. Anglers can use them with a wide array of baits such as hard pellets, Band'Ums, wafters, sweetcorn, cubed meat, maggots, casters, worms, and paste. They are effective for a range of species including F1s, match carp, crucians, silverfish, perch, tench, and quality commercial skimmers. The Preston Innovations MCM-B Eyed Hooks are typically available in sizes from 12 to 18 and are supplied in packs of 10 hooks.
